Nice site, interesting reading. We visited your beautiful country, and enjoyed your hospitality. My grandfather William May, Master Mariner, was born in Skerries in 1854 believe his family were sail makers, on the pier. He ran away to sea, much to the family shock. Ended up in Western Australia married and had a family of girls.

Well done and well informed web site ,keep up the good work,  kindest regards to you all ,

Hello,

I was very impressed with the web site! I'm an architecture sudent in DIT bolton street and we've to do a project in Skerries where part of what I'd to do was historiacal research on Skerries including the lifeboat station so this web-site was extremely helpful. I also recently visited Dun Laoighaire station and the work the RNLI do in general is exceptional! If you would want to suggest any improvements that would be helpful if I was to re-design the current sea-front area of skerries that would be very welcome,

Thank you

Hello to David Courtney and Niall Tucker,

My wife and I would like to thank you so much for the very informative tour of your station Thursday September 14th. We completely enjoyed our time learning about our counterparts in Ireland. We wish everyone there safe and successful rescues. Sometime soon we would like to send pictures of our flotillas in training. You'll definitely notice the difference in equipment, with private facilities (boats) and with our water temps near 22 degrees. Again thank you for the tour, the pictures and lifeboat pins.

Sincerely,

Lane & Jackie Delker

Well done on the website. I just saw it for the 1st time now. Absolutely top notch.

I'm working in Japan at the moment and I can tell you there is no luxury of an RNLI on the Japan Sea. There is a CG service here but you'd be "long gone" before one of their large vessels get to you.

Well done,
Eric.

ps. don't give up on the Maroon's!!

Well done chaps – Lovely web site.

I go diving on a regular basis and it’s good to know that a professional support service is there is ever it is needed.

Hope to not need your services in the near future.

Thanks to all Crew and Officers for your hospitality on the occasion of the Centenary Vellum Presentation.
